The Temporary Facilities Intern position is available at Momentum Group in South Africa, focusing on Group Facilities Management. The role involves supporting the team with electrical/mechanical/electronic maintenance, inspections, and project-related tasks. The ideal candidate should have a degree in electrical/mechanical engineering, a basic understanding of electrical systems, and previous experience in electrical/mechanical work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance of company facilities infrastructure, ensuring all systems function correctly
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of facilities equipment to identify faults or inefficiencies
• Support preventative maintenance activities, working with technicians to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Assist in the installation, repair, and troubleshooting of facility infrastructure components
• Document maintenance activities and compile reports on facilities infrastructure system performance
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and compliance regulations within the facility

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• National Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical (HVAC) Engineering or related qualification
